2. Re: Impulsive Events Time dispersion in Impulsive events Mason (1999) Particles collected by detectors will produce time dispersion because they have different velocities and pitch angles. Note: In large-amplitude turbulent magnetic field like interplanetary magnetic field, the particles are strongly scattered therefore the pitch angles of SEPs are never be a constant in any sense.
