The English version is said to be the best introductory book in Plasma Physics. But the material seems a little old fashion now and a little too basic for a serious plasma physicist. You can still find a clear basic plasma physics picture here.

The best book I have seen. This book was written in 1970s and not printed anymore. Nonlinear plasma theory is not included. Concise but strict derivation with profound explanation. The mathematics is not easy for beginners, but it will give a very good training even for professional researchers.
