Ragot (ApJ 653: 1493-1498) study lengths of turbulent magnetic field lines using different resolution scale and turbulence condition ( and speed of solar wind).  He found that the ratio of turbulent field  line length to parker spiral path increases with distance from the Sun. And, this dependence is stronger in the fast SW.

Despite of Pei (2006)   's    result, Ragot find not field line is shorter than parker spiral field line given the resolution is not larger than 1E10 cm.
