  报告人简介：刘勇博士毕业于武汉大学（本、硕），2001-2006年在美国新罕布什尔大学物理系深造并获得博士学位，2007-2008年在美国乔治梅森大学从事博士后研究，2008-2011年任职美国新罕布什尔大学空间科学中心研究员，2011年入选中国科学院“百人计划”，任职中科院空间科学与应用研究中心研究员，主要从事日球层等离子体片的研究，并主持MIT卫星计划背景型号的研究工作。
