标题: 地球内磁层电磁波激发和传播

摘要: 辐射带电子分布很大程度上受电磁波波动控制。至今,有四种波动被认为控制辐射带电子的损失和/或加速。这四种波动是电磁离子回旋波(electromagnetic ion cyclotron waves),磁声波 (magnetosonic waves), 哨声波(whistler-mode chorus),等离子体层的类杂音电磁辐射 (plasmaspheric hiss)。这四种波动的激发能量来源根本上都是磁层环电流的离子和电子的动能。报告中会总结下环电流激发这些波动的物理过程,以及下电磁波在磁层中传播特征。
